He pinned the brunete down to their bed,, the handcuff chain dangling between them. He studied the younger maan with great curiosity. "Light-kun?" He whispered, his breath, hot, across the other's cheek. His black hair hung down in his face.
Light looked up at the detective. His breath came shot and labored. 'Damn' How had he gotten into this situation with L again?

Another fight, another argument over his innocence.

And now the older dective just peered down at him. Like he was so sure he was right...
"I'm not Kira." Light bit out, a defiant look in his honey brown eyes. He didn't bother waiting for L's reply, just another argument how that wasn't possible. He brought his hed forward quickly, colliding it with L's.
The world's greatest detective pulled back, releasing Light's wrist and holding his forehead.  "That wasn't necessary, Light-kun."
Light propped himself up on his elbows. He ignored L and swung his legs off the bed. He was getting tired of their endless bickering very quickly.
"Light-kun?" L turned to stare at the brunette's back.

There wasn't a response.

L leaned forward and laid a hand on his shoulder. "You don't have to get mad at me."
"And you expect me not to?" Light turned abruptly. "You have no proof I'm Kira, yet you refuse  to release me!" He stood and faced L.
'How uncharacteristic of Light-kun to be so mad.' He gave Light a mostly blank stare.
"All you do is try to gt a confession out of me that isn't even there. What does it take to convince you? Tell me." Light demanded.
L's gaze didn't change. He brought his thumb up and gently chewed on it. "I'm afraid that I don't know of a way other that to catch the current Kira."
Light sighed in aggrivation. 'How long  do I have to put up with this?'
"If it bothers you so much I can't keep my thoughts to myself. But it's always been much more effective to say them aloud. Like watching your actions when I accuse you of being Kira. Depending on how you react would help me decide whether you really are innocent or not. But then again-"

Light hadn't been listening to L's small babble. Fed up with the man stuborness, Light sought the quickest way to quiet him.

L looked up, thuroughly shocked.
Light fingers wound through the raven black hair and drew L's face closer. His lips pressed against L's momentarily before releasing.
L blinked. All of his previous thoughts gone. Lost within seconds.
Light smirked at the lost looked on L's face. At least it worked. But then he had a look of worry across face. "Ryuzaki?"
L didn't reply immediately. His gaze gently raised to meet Light's.
"Don't tell me that was your first kiss." Light raised a questioning eyebrow. 'Then again, how often does Ryuzaki get out? Maybe it was...'
L shook himself mentally. He couldn't let a little physical contact distract him. "Actually Light, it was. Thank you."
Light fought back the urge to laugh. "You're welcome, I guess. But Ryuzaki you seemed a little more shocked than I thought you would've."
"It was you."
"Pardon?"
"I wasn't expecting it to be someone so close." L's eyes seem to drift downward toward Light's lips.
"Oh, I see."
